More Than a Shed – It's a Place to Belong.
Creating friendships. Sharing skills. Supporting wellbeing. Strengthening our community.
At the Brunswick Junction Community Men’s Shed, we believe everyone has something to contribute and something new to discover.
We are a vibrant, welcoming and inclusive community where men and women of all ages and abilities can come together to learn new skills, share their knowledge, work on projects, make new friends and enjoy being part of something worthwhile.
Whether you’re an experienced craftsperson, a complete beginner, looking to meet new people, or simply searching for a place where you can enjoy a cuppa and a good conversation – there’s a place for you at our Shed.
🏆 Proud Recipients of the 2026 Australia Day Community Citizen Award
We are incredibly proud to have been recognised with the Australia Day Community Citizen Award – Active Citizenship (Group/Event) 2026 for our Cyber Safety campaign.
This recognition reflects what our Shed is all about – people working together, looking out for one another and using our skills, knowledge and connections to make a genuine difference in our community.
There’s Always Something Happening
Our Shed is much more than tools and workshops. Members can get involved in woodworking, metalwork, CNC and modern technology, restoration and recycling projects, arts and crafts, community projects, fundraising, health and wellbeing events, social activities and plenty more.
Our Hen’s Shed activities encourage women to develop practical DIY and workshop skills, build confidence and become more independent in tackling projects at home.
We are also passionate about sustainability. Wherever possible, we reuse, recycle and repurpose materials, giving them a new life while reducing waste.
Come for the Tools. Stay for the Friendships.
You don’t need experience and you certainly don’t need to know how to use every tool in the Shed.
Come as you are. Learn something new. Share what you know.
Some members come to make things. Some come to teach. Some come to learn. Some come for the community projects – and some simply come for the company and a cuppa.
That’s what makes our Shed special.
